About Me

My name is Mary and I have the pleasure of running the My Chicago Mommy site! I am excited to be a part of the My City Mommy network. I work full time outside the home and have a four year old son who keeps me on my toes.  He is a ball of fire all while being a sweetheart at the same time.  When my son was born, I began to really focus on saving money and living a more frugal lifestyle.  I found the wonderful world of couponing and have never looked back.  I don't have a huge stockpile in the garage :)  I am just looking to pay the best price for the things I need and hopefully show you how to do the same.  A few freebies here and there never hurt either!

I am also constantly on the look out for a cheaper way to enjoy everything Chicago and its surrounding areas have to offer.  My goal is to help you enjoy our wonderful city and to save money where ever we can.  There is so much to do all year long if you know where to look :)
