I was given the opportunity to watch the new Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Diamond Edition DVD Combo Pack before it's store release courtesy of One2One Network. It had been a long while since I had watched the original Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs movie so I was excited to watch it again. And now that I have children of my own, it was even more exciting to be able to share that experience with them. I wasn't really sure how they would react to it because it doesn't have the bang and the glitz that today's animated movies do, but they all loved it. We celebrated my youngest daughter's birthday yesterday by watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as a family. We laughed out loud as the dwarfs were nervously going around the house trying to find out who had been in there. We also laughed out loud when they were all washing up. I had forgotten how much comedy was in the movie. My oldest daughter also got tears in her eyes when they were holding vigil at Snow White's side. We also enjoyed the bonus features. In particular, my older daughter enjoyed the video of Tiffany Thornton singing "Someday My Prince Will Come." The quality of the movie was wonderful and it's great that they digitally remastered it so future generations could appreciate such a timeless classic.
