These days, my life consists of juggling my roles as a wife, mom, daughter, friend, business owner, blogger, and employee (along with a few other roles). Aside from being “My Chicago Mommy” and sharing great deals with you, I also teach BeCentsAble money-saving classes, coordinate foreign exchange programs for Share America International Exchange, volunteer in my children’s classes, and belong to Mothers & More. There doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day to accomplish everything on my to-do list.One thing that would definitely simplify my life is to have an HP Mini to help me stay organized, stay in touch, and get things done! So, I am entering to win one. It would be perfect for me since it is lightweight and portable. I can stick it in my purse (yes, I carry a large purse), so whenever the opportunity strikes, I can have it handy to post on My Chicago Mommy, send an e-mail to a business contact, or stay in touch with friends and family via Facebook or Skype. Not to mention it will relieve some of the battling over the computer at home. With four kids and a husband at home, we tend to share the computer time. By having my own HP Mini, it would allow for some peace in the household and a very happy Mommy (which, in turn, makes for a very happy family).

Now if only the HP Mini could do the laundry or clean the house, then it would be the PERFECT invention for me! But for now, I would settle on it simplifying my life and giving me back an extra hour or so! With that extra hour, maybe I can get caught up on my children's scrapbooks by doing them digitally on the HP Mini!

I have a family of 8 and thanks to the help I get from your blog I learn something new every day :)If I won this prize it would only add to making my life more simple and lord knows I need all the help I can get ! ReplyDeleteDon't forget about all the times you could use the HP Mini while you wait in a carpool line. Wait at the sports/music practice. Wait at the doctor/dentist office. Or the best "wait time" at the local cafe or coffee shop while you wait for your hot beverage to cool and know you have an hour all to yourself.
ReplyDeleteI have to do a lot of traveling and I use a friend's extra laptop while I'm on the road. It would be great if I didn't have to use his and didn't have to carry such a big thing through airport security!
ReplyDeleteI would use it while waiting for kids at swimming, karate, t-ball, etc. etc. It seems that part of a mom's job is waiting. I love that I am able to give my kids lots of opportunities, but keeping my mind active is a constant struggle.

What a 'little' blessing a mini would be...so many activities beginning as our daughters are growing. This would be mighty handy to pack up and take on the go...not to mention handy to have an extra laptop in the house. Thank you for organizing yet another wonderful give a way!

Working full-time and going straight to grad school in the evenings are no easy tasks...especially when you don't have a car and have to rely on public transportation. The hp mini would literally lighten my load and make my life easier!
