* REVIEW * Sesame Street Live "Elmo's Green Thumb"

My family and I had the opportunity to watch Sesame Street Live "Elmo's Green Thumb" today and it was quite a show. If you have preschoolers who like Sesame Street, then they will enjoy this one. It was full of dancing and great educational songs. The storyline was about how Elmo was trying to find a new "home" for his new friend, Sunny the sunflower. Their songs are a great way to teach children how the different things in nature help to determine where is a good place to plant the sunflower. They even talk about how bugs play a role in helping with the plants.

What impressed me the most is how synchronized and polished all the characters were during their singing and dancing routines. You could see the smiles on all the children's faces as they watched their favorite characters come to life right in front of their eyes. They even had some of the characters come out into the audience during some of the performances.

If you have some time this weekend, they have another show tonight at 5:30 pm and shows tomorrow at 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm at the Rosemont Theater in Rosemont, IL.
