Energizer - Recharge Smart Charger & Smart ChargeHER Contest Entry

The picture above is Energizer's Recharge Smart Charger. It's features include:
- Countdown Timer - Counts down in two-hour increments to let you know when your batteries will be fully charged.
- Battery Fuel Gauge - Know how full your battery is to always have enough power for the job.
- Bad Battery Alert - Red "X" appears when a non-rechargeable NiMH battery (or old NiMH) is placed in the charger.

Now you might be asking - "Why is she talking about the Energizer Recharge Smart Charger?" Well, there are a few reasons why:

1) I am surrounded with toys and electronic gadgets that seem to need an endless supply of batteries.  Being able to reuse and recharge the batteries is very helpful.  The fact that I can see how long it will take to recharge the batteries is also a great tool.  The Recharge Smart Charger can do all of these things.

2) I love that fact that having rechargeable batteries helps to have less waste than using regular batteries which need to be thrown out after just one use.

3) Nothing is worse than having children really excited to try a new gadget or toy that requires batteries only to put some in and find out they are not working.  With the Recharge Smart Charger, I can find out if a battery is going to work BEFORE I even put it in the gadget or toy (and save a lot of tears or cranky kids).

4) When you are planning to use a digital camera or music player, you want to make sure you have enough battery life to last you through your outing or event.  With the Recharge Smart Charger, it will tell you how full your battery is so you know if it will have enough power for the job.

1) I LIVE with 4 Energizer bunnies - yes, I mean my kids - even though they are younger than the Energizer Bunny, I am still convinced that the concept of "it keeps going and going and going..." had them in mind.  So, I would be able to relay the motto of "keeps going" to those I meet.

2) Every day is an adventure in my family - between my kids' activities, my 3 jobs, my husband's job, and our every day household chores, we all need a LOT of energy and recharging (especially me)!  Being at BlogHer will help me recharge and come back refreshed and full of battery-life again!

3) I LOVE the Energizer brand and have been using them for years, even while I was growing up.  We've definitely used our share of Energizer batteries and can attest to their quality.  I would be very proud to represent the brand to my fellow bloggers at the BlogHer conference.

4) When I believe in a product, I love to share my feedback with family and friends, either face-to-face or through social media outlets, such as my blog, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and e-mail.  I would also be happy to wear the Energizer t-shirt at the conference and in my normal daily routine (it will help in my packing decisions for BlogHer, so that's great - one less outfit to bring).

5) I am truly passionate about blogging, about connecting with people, about improving my blogging skills and about learning new things, all of which are in line with the Energizer brand.  Representing Energizer at BlogHer, which brings all of things together, would definitely be a highlight in my life!
