Discover new horizons at the Adler during Charter One Explorer Days:
In Planet Explorers, families with children ages 3 to 8 years old can embark on a modern-day space adventure and explore a distant world known only as Planet X.
Families can expand their experience from the Planet Explorers exhibition to the rest of the museum with the complimentary Explorer’s Tool Belt. The tool belts offer a variety of self-guided experiences and several tools to utilize throughout the Adler.
Visitors can enjoy the exciting stories of space exploration in the Adler’s permanent exhibition, Shoot for the Moon. Navigate the Moon Wall to see the most up-to-date images of the lunar surface while listening to narration by famous space explorer - Captain James A. Lovell, Jr., Commander of Apollo 13.
Check out the tools that explorers have used for more than 400 years in Telescopes: Through the Looking Glass. Their hours from Monday through Friday are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
