The Great Dinner Party is a website where people who love to entertain and set a beautiful table can share photos of their table settings (all dinnerware is welcome), menus and recipes with their family and friends and get inspiration for their next entertaining event.

How do you enter the contest and join The Great Dinner Party?
Go to The Great Dinner Party, click on “Share Your Table” and sign in using your Facebook username and password. Once your profile picture has loaded, click on “Get Started Now” and you’ll be able to upload your tablescapes.
Step 1 - Fill in your table details, pull down the “Sponsored by” dropdown box and select My Chicago Mommy
*We need to know which site referred you in order to count your entry!!!
Step 2 - Upload five pictures of your tablescape
Step 3 – Invite your Facebook friends and family to see pictures of your tablescape
Step 4 & 5 – You can skip menu and recipes if you want, and voila... you've entered the contest!

ReplyDeleteI like to think about my "audience" - what grandma will love for her 90th birthday is probably NOY what DD wants for her Sweet 16th.
ReplyDeleteGrilled cheese and tomato soup can look like a feast fit for a king (or queen) if your table is great. You dont have to pull out the china and silver; your everyday dishes and flatware can look great and your table inviting and exciting if you add a few extras: cloth napkins and napkin rings, candles, and/or theme the table.
