What does Valentine's Day mean to you? To me, it means the day when you celebrate love, whether it's for your significant other, child, parent, or friend. It also holds a special significance for me because it was around Valentine’s Day so many years ago that my husband and I started dating. Also for me, it’s not necessarily about the chocolates and flowers, but more about the sentiment behind the holiday. With all the things we all have going on in our lives – work, school, activities – sometimes we forget to take the time to just express the love we have for one another and with Valentine’s Day, it reminds you to do just that.

My parents love to give us greeting cards that express their feelings and I truly cherish the greeting cards they give us every year. So this year, I plan to have the kids design some personalized greeting cards to give to their grandparents. I also plan to make some personalized greeting cards for each child so they know how truly special they are to me and how my love is with them no matter where they go.
