Join IHOP on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 between 7 AM and 10 PM for National Pancake Day and receive one complimentary short stack! In return for the free flapjacks, just consider leaving a little something behind for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other designated local charities.
IHOP raised more than $2.1 million last year. IHOP began its National Pancake Day in 2006, and since then, has raised $5.35 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities and given away more than 10.1 million buttermilk pancakes.
I brought my kids to National Pancake Day last year before dropping them off at school and they absolutely loved it! Aside from the free pancakes, they enjoyed having a "special" breakfast with Mommy without me having to do any of the cooking or cleaning afterwards. It might be fun for you to do with your kids also! You can also go there during lunch or dinner for your free pancakes.
To make it easy to remember National Pancake Day, IHOP has also set up free wake-up calls from celebrities Steve Young, Miss America Teresa Scanlan, Marie Osmond, John Schneider, and David Archuleta. Just sign up here to set up your wake-up call on March 1st.
