If you are looking for a great, fun, and FREE game that appeals to all ages Fairway Solitaire by Big Fish games is a game you definitely want to check out. The free version has several courses/levels to keep you busy for quite a while. The full version is only $0.99 for the iPhone/iPod and $2.99 on the iPad.
Fairway Solitaire combines traditional solitaire and golf to create a unique gaming experience. As with traditional solitaire, you play sequential cards to create long runs. Long runs make long drives. Like golf, long drives help make better scores! In what reminds me of the classic movie Caddy Shack, you have McDivot the gopher who definitely makes the game more fun as well. He pops in every once in a while and if you get to click on him you can get a bonus. Every time he pops up I picture Bill Murray and his silly outfits from the movie! I have been letting my son play along with me. It has been a good learning experience in number sequence and alternating colors.
The rules are listed in the “Gold Academy” but overall the game is pretty simple. The better you do in solitaire the better your golf game will be
