Kids of all ages can enjoy a wildly fun-filled day during special performances by renowned “creature adventurers” Martin and Chris Kratt from the wildly popular PBS show “Wild Kratts,” which airs Mondays-Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on WTTW 11. The event will take place on Sunday, June 10, on Brookfield Zoo’s West Mall and feature two performances at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
The performances will teach children about rare wildlife behaviors as the Kratt Brothers re-create one of their adventures in the wild and teach the audience the sounds of the animals they met on their travels. The Kratt Brothers will host an autograph session following the 1:00 p.m. performance.
The shows are free with regular zoo admission of $15 for adults and $10.50 for children ages 3 to 11 and seniors 65 and over. Children 2 and under are free. Parking is $10. Due to the Kratt Brothers popularity, those planning on visiting the zoo on June, should consider taking public transportation.
