If you haven't signed up for a Capitol One 360 account now is the time to do so. A few times a year they runs this great promotion where you can earn money (in this case $100) for opening an account and either completing five pin transactions with your 360 Checking debit card or 3 person to person payments online. This is easy to do. When I signed up I bought 5 inexpensive items at various stores and I was done. On day 50 of having your account, you will see $100 credit. It truly is that simple.
I use my account as a "silent" savings account. I have money taken out of each check automatically. I don't even notice that its gone as it comes out on payday and it has built up nicely over time. I never carry the card with me so I am not tempted to use the money. I actually found out the hard way the other day that I even forgot my pin. I'll have to work on that but if I need money right away I can wire it to my main checking account fairly quickly.
For me this is just a no brainer for some easy money. I have been waiting for this to come around again so my boyfriend can sign up.
